Ray Stevenson Had an Absolute Ball Playing Titus Pullo!
As we watch our favorite TV actors playing a wide array of characters on our TV screens, we tend to forget that at the end of the day, they are also doing a job, just like any of us. The sets of their shows are their offices and their co-stars are their colleagues.

The only difference is that for these actors, the milieu they work in often keeps changing and they must learn to let go, and move on! However, that does not mean that they do not have their favorites! For Ray Stevenson, the role that stirred the chords of his heart, and he enjoyed portraying like none other, was his role on the hit BBC series, ‘Rome’.
Ray played the role of Titus Pullo on the show, and received immense critical acclaim for his portrayal. Talking of his experience on the show, the actor says that it has been his favorite role, and he couldn’t wait to go back to play it again, each time the show went on hiatus.
He says that he believes that in any job that one does, there are a few ‘great moments’ that define the job. For him, those moments were on the sets of Rome. Considering the intriguing storyline, amazing production team, and breathtaking sets, it is quite understandable why Ray was so smitten by his stint on the show.
If you wish to treat yourself to the stunning visuals and riveting plots that the show unfailingly delivered, you can tune in to Rome episodes to do so.
The show is the epitome of brilliance, and carved for itself a legacy that could never be recreated, despite all the efforts. Talking of the challenges that he had to experience while portraying the role of Titus, Ray reveals that the most difficult of them was striking the perfect balance between his ‘good’ and ‘bad’ sides.
Despite all the positives in his character, which included braveness, loyalty, moral values, and his fun-loving nature, Ray says that at the end of the day, he needed to remember that he was “a bit of a thug” as well, and had to ensure that the audiences did not love him too much.

Apted, who previously served for a tenure that extended from 2002 to 2009, has emerged as the re-elected incumbent. Well, hearty congrats for this achievement!
